Caitlin is our ESSP team leader. With experience working in metropolitan hospital in and outpatient settings, Caitlin brings a broad range of skills in the area of adult Speech Pathology care to our team. As the lead clinician for our St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney service, Caitlin combines her empathetic approach with high level clinical decision making to ensure that patients have the best opportunities to communicate and swallow according to best practice and their own wishes. She has particualr skills in the management of head and neck oncology patients, including those who have undergone transoral robotic resections (TORS). Caitlin possesses high level dysphagia management skills and regularly conducts VFSS and FEES studies with colleagues and consultants. She is LSVT - Loud certified and is the key clinician at our fortnightly combined head and neck oncology service at GenesisCare Hurstville and our consultative service at GenesisCare Concord. She provides mentoring and support for her colleagues. A member of NSW Dysphagia Interest Group and lifelong learner, Caitlin quickly stepped up to be at the forefront of Eastern Suburbs Speech Pathology Quality Improvement projects.
